About Tinkers & Thinkers

Modeled on other Bay Area Makers Fairs and a series of "Innovation Nights" at the Pleasant Hill Library, the Tinkers and Thinkers Innovation Faire is celebrating its fifth year! Although we have had to host the event virtually in the past two years due to the pandemic, the spirit and hand-on nature of the event continues. This free and wildly popular event encourages kids of all ages to explore and engage in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) with a variety of "hands-on" make-at-home projects and activities!

The primary goal of Tinkers & Thinkers Innovation Faire is to bring S.T.E.M. inspiration, creativity, and innovation to families in our community & beyond!

Tinkers & Tinkers is brought to you through the collaborative (and super fun) partnership between Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District and the Pleasant Hill Library! Teamwork is dream work!

A special shout-out to our event sponsors, the City of Pleasant Hill, Friends of the Pleasant Hill Library, the Pleasant Hill Community Foundation, and Republic Services. And a special thank you to all our volunteers who helped assemble, sort, pack, tape, and transport over 1,000 Maker boxes within one short week. Thank you. You are all OUT OF THIS WORLD!
