Modeled on other Bay Area Makers Fairs and a series of "Innovation Nights" at the Pleasant Hill Library, the Tinkers and Thinkers Innovation Faire is an award-winning event! Although we had to host the event virtually during the pandemic years (2020 & 2021), the spirit and hands-on nature of the event endured with the addition of "Tinker Boxes". These special boxes are filled with all the components necessary to build several S.T.E.A.M. projects at home. How-To instruction videos for each project are posted on the website here.  These FREE boxes are distributed to the first 1,000 people who register for a box. The "Tinker (Dream) Team" was THRILLED to bring the community back together for both our 2022 and 2023 Tinkers & Thinkers Innovation Faire event in Pleasant Hill Park and inside the Pleasant Hill Senior Center.

 

This free and wildly popular event encourages kids of all ages to explore and engage in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) with a variety of "hands-on" projects and activities at the event!

The primary goal of Tinkers & Thinkers Innovation Faire is to bring S.T.E.A.M. inspiration, creativity, and innovation to families in our community & beyond!
