Take-Home Tinker Boxes (FREE)
What's inside the box?
You'll have to wait and see! Each Tinker Box is filled with all the necessary components to build unique S.T.E.M. projects at home. The How-To instructional videos for each project will be posted HERE by the end of the day on September 16.
Pre-registration was required to pick up a box at the event. Currently, all available Tinker Boxes have been reserved but a waitlist is available.
Tinker Box Pick-Up:
Reserved Tinker Boxes will be available for pick up during the in-person event on Saturday, September 16 at the Tinker Box pick-up booth from 12:00-3:00 pm.
If you reserved a Tinker Box but are unable to make the event, they will be available for pick up at the Pleasant Hill Library front desk from Monday-Saturday, September 18-23. On Monday, September 25, any unclaimed Tinker Boxes will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis and/or will be donated to local classrooms.
If you are on the waitlist, please pick up your Tinker Boxes at the Pleasant Hill Library AFTER the event during "Pick-up Week" from September 18-23.
If you missed the memo about the Tinker Boxes and would still like one, you can Join the waitlist here while supplies last. We will contact you via email next week (9/18-23).
Please do not call the library to inquire about availability.
View library hours and location here.
Rocket Fuel (Food)
Black Oak Hot Dogs will be returning this year to provide a special rocket fuel meal deal for all the tinkers and thinkers.
Parking
Parking is free in lots and along the street. Given the anticipated size of the crowd (including robots), however, I strongly encourage you to walk, scoot, and/or bike to the event.
Weather
The event is rain or shine. Circuits crossed for some beautiful almost-fall weather!
